Tremaine is known in Whatcom and Skagit Counties for his years of service in the banking and real estate industry. He began his career in 1975 at Mount Baker Mutual Savings Bank. In 1983, he became Vice President and Northwest District Manager for real estate department at Key Bank. From 1996 to 2005, he served as a member of the senior management team for Whidbey Island Bank.

As Executive Vice President for Business Bank, Tremaine developed the Real Estate Department and has been instrumental in the bank’s growth. Recently he was inducted into the Building Industry Association of Washington’s Hall of Fame and upon his retirement, Rick will become a member of Business Bank’s Board of Directors.
