John is the Physician Ombudsman for Regence BlueShield, a Washington state health insurance company. Previously Dr. Boyes served as President of Skagit Radiology, Inc., P.S. from 1974 to 2001. He was the founder and past Board Chairman of Breast Care Center from 1981 to 2001. Dr. Boyes graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School.
LuAnne serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Villaorba LLC, MYKA LLC and Day Creek Industries. These companies are in the business of property management and redevelopment in Skagit County. Previously Ms. Burkhart held positions as finance manager, title clerk and treasurer in the automobile industry. Ms. Burkhart received her BA in Communications from California State University at Sacramento.
Clark is President of Offshore Consulting Group, Inc. Mr. Donnell formerly served as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of InterWest Bank until 2000. Mr. Donnell received his BA in Business Administration, Economics from Pacific Lutheran University.
Don served in area and regional management positions involving dealer placement, sales, finance and development for Nissan Motor Corporation for 20 years. Mr. Gordon bought a Nissan dealership in Skagit County and operated it until its sale in 2003 and then transferred assets to Villaorba LLC, MYKA LLC and Day Creek Industries. Mr. Gordon earned a BA degree in Political Science from Washington State University.
Jeffrey Dean Hansell, has been in the homebuilding and real estate development business since 1981 and in Skagit County since 1992. He is a founder and co-owner of Hansell Mitzel homes, formed in 2001. He is a registered General Contractor. Mr. Hansell earned his BS degree in in Building Construction from the University of Washington.
Peter is retired from the real estate development business. Mr. Hansell formerly worked as a CPA for Peterson and Sullivan and later joined Securities Mortgage Company both located in Seattle. Mr. Hansell and a partner formed Stafford Hansell Company, a residential building company. Subsequently Mr. Hansell formed his own residential and commercial building company, both companies were located in Bothell, Washington. Mr. Hansell holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Washington.
Rogan Jones founded Affordable Information, Inc., a custom software programming business, Rowen Investments LLC, a commercial real estate business, Sleepmaster LLC, a retail mattress sales business, and is the President of Mt. Constitution Sites, Inc., an antenna farm business. Mr. Jones is a former Director for KGMI, Inc. Raised in Bellingham, Mr. Jones graduated from Sehome High School and from California Polytechnic University.
Mr. Smiley, age 46, has been in the insurance business for 20 years. He sold Smiley Insurance Services, Inc on January 1st, 2005 but continues to be employed as an agent. Mr. Smiley also develops and manages commercial properties in Skagit and Whatcom counties. Mr. Smiley earned a BS degree in Agricultural Mechanization from Washington State University in 1983.
Richard has been a crop farmer in Mount Vernon and Fir Island since 1958. Mr. Smith formed a partnership in 1998 with Morrison Farms to wash, pack, market and ship potatoes to wholesale markets in the United States under the Skagit Valley's "Best" label. Mr. Smith earned a BS in Horticulture from WSC (now Washington State University).
Don is the founding President and CEO for Business Bank beginning in 2005. Mr. Zimmerman has over 42 years in the banking industry. A Rotarian for 37 years, Mr. Zimmerman is a board member United Way and a member of EDASC, the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and the Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce. Mr Zimmerman holds a Degree in Business Administration from North Idaho College.
Rick retired in January 2008 from Business Bank with more than 32 years in banking. Mr. Tremaine developed the Real Estate Department at Business Bank and has been instrumental in the bank’s growth. In 2007 Rick was inducted into the Building Industry Association of Washington’s Hall of Fame. Mr. Tremaine has served as a director of the National Association of Home Builders, BIAW, SICBA and Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce.
